Frozen semen from Chrialka Zibu is available from Equibreed. He has had great success so far, with only one insemination required each time to attain pregnancy.

Stallion for lease

Chrialka Donar is available for lease due to me being busy on course. He throws lovely foals, and would have had more if he hadn't been waiting in the wings while we have used Bu.

Chrialka Donar

– son of Chrialka Zibu and Dutch Treat, a Polaris (Dutch Warmblood) mare.
Polaris's offspring were highly successful in all disciplines and showed up regularly in the winners line-up, including his stallion son Uraeus who competed successfully in Advanced dressage with Lockie Richards; and had the role of Brego in Lord of the Rings.
Donar is 16hh and has some very promising youngsters on the ground, with the first ready to go out and compete this season. They are all of good type, from a range of mares.
Donar has been backed but hasn't been kept in work due to lack of a suitable rider. He has an excellent temperament, great movement, and of course those eye catching markings that highlight him so well and appeal to those who love "chrome".

Stud fee is $500 + GST (incl $200 handling/booking fee)

Craighaven Lord Almighty Craighaven Lord Astra

Craighaven Lord Almighty

was bred by Martin and Karen Gow of Craighaven Sport Horses, 'Marty' is by Lord Welton (imp UK) who is by Welton Crackerjack from the world renown Welton Stud. Welton Crackerjack is the only stallion to have sired winners of the worlds three most prestigious four star events. Marty is out of Astra Amber, a Shamal mare, also dam of Mighty Heights.

Marty is 7/8 Thoroughbred, with the remainder equal parts of Irish and 'New Zealand Sport Horse' and was purchased to cross over our Zibu fillies.
Marty's half brother, Mighty Heights is one of New Zealands most successful and versatile stallions, having competed to top level in eventing and show jumping, and to a high level in dressage as well.
Standing at 15.3hh Marty is a very compact horse with beautiful movement and an easy temperament. Although he is small, he is throwing foals of good size.
Marty has quietly started his competitive career, demonstrating his fantastic temperament and a great jumping technique. He was placed in his first ODE - after being rudely pulled from his paddock after running with mares for a week last spring. He has also been to training clinic with group or individual lessons, ARC events, the HOY (stallion parade) and hacked out in company or alone across farmland, to the beach and along the rivers. Tanya Koens has thoroughly enjoyed having him to ride and train.
