Terms and Conditions:

1. Craighaven Lord Astra stands for a stud fee of $600 + GST. This includes non-refundable booking/handling fee of $200 + GST which is payable in advance and covers three cycles. There is a discount of 10% on stud fees if more than one mare is booked by the same owner.
2. All veterinary and farriery charges are the responsibility of the mare owner/s, and are charged direct to the owner/s.
3. A recent veterinary certificate is required to prove freedom from disease and infection and to ensure breeding suitability. Mares should be fully vaccinated prior to arrival at the stud, and vaccinated for salmonella in the month prior to foaling.
   Please discuss this with your veterinary surgeon.
4. The stud master will exercise judgement in the care and supervision of the mare, and/or her foal, but will not be responsible for accident, sickness or death of mare or foal.
5. The stud has the mare owners' permission to employ veterinary assistance if necessary, and administer any remedy that, upon vet's discretion, is required.

• Mares will be drenched on arrival at the stud.
• If a mare poses a danger to handlers or stallion she will not be served.
• The stud reserves the right to refuse any mare.
• Stud fees are due following a forty-five day scan and/or remaining accounts are due prior to the mare leaving the stud.

Free Return Privilege Applies provided that:

1. All fees are paid up to date.
2. A veterinary certificate of barrenness is produced; or the mare has been foaled under experienced and recognised stud procedures and the foal does not live longer than 48 hours. Please discuss any problems with the stud within this time.
3. Mare ownership does not change hands.
