Chrialka Donar
![]() |
![]() |
A son of Chrialka Zibu and Dutch Treat, a Polaris (Dutch Warmblood) mare.
Polaris's offspring were highly successful in all disciplines and showed up regularly in the winners line-up, including his stallion son Uraeus who competed successfully in Advanced dressage with Lockie Richards; and had the role of Brego in Lord of the Rings.
Donar is 16hh and has some very promising youngsters on the ground, with the first ready to go out and compete this season. They are all of good type, from a range of mares.
Donar has been backed but hasn't been kept in work due to lack of a suitable rider. He has an excellent temperament, great movement, and of course those eye catching markings that highlight him so well and appeal to those who love "chrome".
Stud fee is $600 + GST (incl $200 handling/booking fee)

Marty has quietly started his competitive career, demonstrating his fantastic temperament and a great jumping technique. He was placed in his first ODE - after being rudely pulled from his paddock after running with mares for a week last spring. He has also been to training clinic with group or individual lessons, ARC events, the HOY (stallion parade) and hacked out in company or alone across farmland, to the beach and along the rivers. Tanya Koens has thoroughly enjoyed having him to ride and train.
