Chrialka Donar

C. Donar C. Donar

A son of Chrialka Zibu out of Dutch Treat, a Polaris mare.
Donar is 16hh and has some very promising youngsters on the ground, with the first being backed this season. They are all of good type, out of a range of mares.
Donar has been backed but hasn't been kept in work due to lack of a suitable rider. He has an excellent temperament, great movement, and of course those eyecatching markings that highlight him so well and appeal to those who love "chrome".

Stud fee is $600 + GST (incl $200 handling/booking fee)

Craighaven Lord Astra

Craighaven Lord Astra Craighaven Lord Astra

Purpose bred by Martin and Karen Gow of Craighaven Sport Horses, "Marty" is a lovely colt by Lord Welton (imp UK), out of Astra Amber - a mare by Shamal and the dam of Mighty Heights.
Marty is part Irish Draft, mainly Thoroughbred, with a touch of 'NZSH' and has been added to our stallion lineup to use over our 'Bu' fillies and outside mares. He brings excellent performance bloodlines. The Welton line is world reknown in the eventing field. Several top performers for New Zealand's international riders have carried the Welton prefix. Astra Amber, carrying the Shamal blood, is from a very successful line of New Zealand Sport Horses, noted for their jumping and all round ability.
Marty's half brother, Mighty Heights is one of New Zealands most successful and versatile stallions, having competed to top level in eventing and showjumping, and to a high level in dressage as well.
Marty is 15.3hh at this time, but being a late foal and also from a later maturing ling there is still has plenty of time for him to grow on. A lovely rich mahogany bay, with no white markings, Marty is a beautiful mover, has a fantastic temperament. He has already demonstrated a great jumping technique.

Stud fee is $600 + GST, (incl $200 handling/booking fee)
