For All Horses - competitive and fun!

Chrialka Warmbloods have been involved in the sport horse breeding industry for 15 years. The results of our breeding programme are enjoyed as competitive athletes or pleasure hacks. They event, jump, hunt or do dressage. Many do a bit of everything, sometimes with more than one rider, demonstrating their diversity. And some are now competing overseas.

Stallions at Stud

Chrialka stands three stallions at stud -

Chrialka Zibu, our foundation sire. He has had success in dressage, show jumping and show hunter events. "Bu" has also hunted, done stock work, been trekking and is currently a confidence-building schoolmaster. His offspring are the ones the studs' reputation has been built on.

Chrialka Donar, by Zibu out of Dutch Treat (by Polaris), has had a quiet life. Backed but never competed, he was retained by the stud as understudy to Zibu. "Duncan's" earliest crop is soon to be backed. They are of similar type and temperament to their grand-sires line, promising the same versatility.

Craighaven Lord Astra, by Lord Welton (by Welton Crackerjack) out of Astra Amber (dam of Mighty Heights). Bred for Eventing, "Marty" was purchased from Martin and Karen Gow of Craighaven Stud. His first foals are due this season. Marty should be out competing after Christmas, once his stud duties are over.

Youngstock for Sale

Progeny of all three stallions are for sale, from the soon expected foals to four year olds.

We also offer you free advertising of our stallions progeny on the web site and have an 'open gate' policy. You are welcome to hack (or drive) over the property. Please contact us to organise this.
